Holy shmoly cow. It's been a year, readers. A whole year! And close to 500 posts and nearly 600 followers on Blogger (plus how ever many more of you follow me by other means, I know you're out there!). What can I say? I'm impressed. What started as a little warbling venture about some photos of a dog that didn't belong to me has now turned into this.
Way to go, me. I AM AWESOME.
Oh! And you are all awesome, too. And to say thanks to all of you, I'm doing another giveaway. There will be just one winner this time (sorry guys) and a pretty simple prize because frankly, I'm a bit too zonked at the moment to do better. OH! OHHH!!!! AND it's my birthday in almost a week (on the 12th readers, ahem) (yes, the original Columbus Day) (and man, that caused total confusion for me as a child because I'd be all, "Okay now who exactly is this Christopher Columbo person I share my birthday with?" and my mom would be all, "I ALREADY TOLD YOU, YOU DON'T SHARE YOUR BIRTHDAY WITH HIM." and then I'd be all, "Oh that's good because I already hafta share every other single birthday with SOMEONE and people keep taking the easy way out and giving us crappy board games to share as gifts because OH-HA-HA-HA isn't that funny, twins can play board games together and I DON'T WANT TO SHARE MY STUPID BOARD GAME WITH A THIRD PERSON." and my mom would raise her eyebrow at me and then I'd think to myself, "But huh, I thought we only have holidays if someone has a birthday, like Christmas. Christmas is baby Jesus's birthday and Easter is the Easter Bunny's birthday so how did this dude get a holiday if it isn't his birthday?") but uh anyway, here I am, giving things to you a week before my birthday. Something is a bit screwy with this picture, huh.

Blogging might be the most time-sucking, non-money-making job ever...but I rather dig it. Perhaps I will even stick around for another year.
